Letter from the President
March 2015
KIT-HAN-NE REGION OF THE AACA

The snow is finally melting and we've moved into mud season. My car gets washed when it rains.

Ruthi and Tim Wolfe, and Jorn and I attended the 'Carless Cruise' Cabin Fever Cruise at the Cook Forest Country Inn. It was a sloppy drive going up, but the roads dried off better for the return trip. Rene puts on an excellent event. She had prizes for just about everyone. Thank you, Rene Grumbaugh, and Bernie, the business owner, for putting on this event each year it is well-worth the trip!

Our fist meeting is Wednesday, March 25th, at Cabin Greens Restaurant. Dinner at 6PM and the meeting at 7PM. We do have an important topic to discuss and possibly vote upon it was covered/suggested in last month's newsletter

I trust that, by now, you have all received your AACA membership card. All new members, please get your ID number to Bobbi Williamson, Treasurer, 724-548-2130 as soon as possible, or you can call me at 724-664-1022.

Marcia Williamson is working on getting goody bag items from typical businesses in car-related business. If you have contacts for goody bag items or even door prizes, please contact those sources for help with those items we go through a lot and people do appreciate the efforts.

Please remember to send information about yourself, a cruise that you've heard of, know of someone in the hospital, or anything of interest to club members to Bill Johnson, webmaster. Also, please inform Bill if any of your member information has changed (address, phone, etc.). You can contact Bill at bill@zmax.us. All 2015 members whose cars are to be featured on dash plaques, please get a good digital picture, as soon as possible, to Bill. Background should be 'un-cluttered' and should not 'compete' with the car for attention in the picture. Be sure to check out the club website, for club-related information. Bill works hard at keeping it updated. You can also find the club on Facebook at Kit han ne Car Club.

I've been busy coming up with some new ideas for day trips. One is a possible early Wednesday evening trip to the home of the LHHC Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor - they have food and music available, outdoors, for a number of Wednesdays across the summer. If you have some ideas about day trips, please let me know.

Scott and Jason, of Cookie Daze fame, are conducting a car clubs 'Town Hall' type meeting in East Brady coming up Saturday, March 28th, 1PM to 5PM, 450 Robinson Street, East Brady. Cruisin' Times Magazine, Big Al of Big Al's List, and Vito from Carcruises.com will all be there. JnJ Graphix will have a table there for your purchasing pleasure.

Stay dry! Mark your calendar for our first 2015 meeting at Cabin Greens Restaurant, Wednesday, March 25th, 6PM dinner, 7PM meeting.

Thank you,

Bobbi
