We kicked off our cruise season with our Cinco de Mayo Cruise on Wednesday, May 5th at the Kittanning Township Fire Hall. We had 65 cars, music, lots of food, lots of help and we did well on the 50/50. Thank you to everyone who helped.

Our Wednesday, May 19th cruise had to be moved due to Sheetz construction at the Cadet – it will now be at the Kittanning Township Volunteer Fire Hall. The fire hall site worked out well for the Cinco de Mayo cruise and the firemen have welcomed us back. Most of it will still be the same – music, 50/50, food, door prizes and our set up will be similar. Some upgrades will be to raise all speakers for the music, bring the gate tent back to the back corner of the fire hall building and adding dash plaques – the first of the year featuring Bob Prunty’s Ford Fairlane posed in front of the art deco Gulf station in Bedford, PA. Please try to make it out to the fire hall for this first cruise of our regular cruise season. We need folks directing traffic, passing out goodie bags, parking cars – all of the usual ‘organizational’ things.

We’ll plan the rest of this year’s cruises based on members’ opinions of sites, successes, construction conditions at the Cadet and so forth – so please be prepared to comment.
