Wednesday, May 15th, is our first cruise of 2013, so here's to sun, warm weather and no rain. We'll start setup at 2PM, so please try to be there. We'll have 100 dash plaques and door prizes. We will need goody bag items and lots of help setup, gate, parking cruisers, and so forth.

Take a look at the Cook Forest Country Inn cruise on Sunday, June 9th, Vowinckel, PA in old cars, about a 1 hour drive. The cruise goes from noon to 4PM, but the Inn has a breakfast buffet from 9AM to 12:30, and lunch buffet after that, so we'll 'caravan' up early for the buffet(s) and stay the afternoon for the cruise we'll depart the McDonald's Park and Ride at 10AM sharp.

Saturday, June 15th will be a big event in downtown Ford City at the park a cruise, a monster truck on display and the Blues Brothers complete with their old Dodge Polara police car.

Our next Cadet cruise will be Wednesday, June 19th. Setup will be same as always start at 2PM until we are ready to go. Please keep trying to come up with goody bag items.

The informal car cruise for the Kittanning Care Center is Saturday, June 22, with a rain date of Saturday, June 29. The cruise will be 2 hours total. I'll update the information as I get it right now, the loose end is 'time-of-day' we don't have that yet. Please watch the cruise dates schedule on the webpage and we'll try to get more information out soon.

On Sunday, June 23rd , the Camp Sherwin YMCA in the Westlake area of Erie, PA, is hosting a car cruise. The Keystone Kruisers and the Kit-Han-Ne Car Club typically help with this very successful event. Last year, Bill and Sue Johnson won the drawing for this year's dash plaque car, so you'll receive a dash plaque of their 1959 Triumph TR3a by participating in this event and your car could be on their 2014 dash plaque if you win this year's dash plaque drawing. We leave from the Worthington Firehall parking lot at 8AM, stop for a buffet breakfast along the way, help with and enjoy the cruise then on the way home, we stop at the Cracker Barrel at Meadeville. Please consider coming along for this enjoyable day trip don't forget your camera.

We have two Ohio trips planned for this year. The first one is during the National Packard Show at the Packard Museum in Warren, Ohio, Saturday, July 20 or Sunday, July 21 (not set yet). We'll attend events there and even if you don't drive a Packard, your car is very welcome there. We'll eat dinner in the area details yet to be announced.

The Kalmar Motors Relay for Life cruise is Thursday afternoon, July 25th, from 4PM to 8PM. We'll discuss this cruise at the next club meeting.

The club picnic will again be at Boyd and Patty Baker's farm in Upper Boggsville, PA date has been changed to Saturday, August 10th (was 17th). Picnic starts at 5PM and goes to??? The club will provide meat, buns, drinks, and tableware. Guests are asked to bring a covered dish to share and, we always have too much! Informal car show on the Baker's front lawn. As always, we invite other local clubs, and family members, to this picnic.

Saturday, September 14, we will travel back to Ohio to Mary Yoder's Restaurant, the Middlefield Cheese Shop and the End of the Commons General Store and gas station. Details to come.

The McConnells Mill & Butler Fairground Market car cruise will be on a Sunday we'll set the date once we have the Fairground's cruise-in buffet schedule.

Our next club meeting is Wednesday, May 22, at the Cabin Greens Golf Course on Ford City Road. Dinner at 6M, meeting at 7PM. Please try to attend see you there.
