KIT-HAN-NE REGION OF THE AACA

It saddens me to tell you that we lost a long-time member of the Kit-Han-Ne Region, AACA – Pauline Schultze. Pauline passed away on Tuesday, May 12th. Jim and Pauline joined the Kit-Han-Ne Region when it was founded. Pauline had always been a very dear friend to Jorn and me. Many great memories – Hershey, for one – Pauline would cook up food on the field - “Hey, JJ, you want a sandwich?” “Sure, Pauline, Thanks!” Please remember Jim, Donna, Gary and their families in your prayers.

Our April 22nd meeting went very well with 22 members in attendance.

Our first Cadet cruise is Wednesday, May 20th. In case of rain on the 20th, cruise date will be Wednesday, May 27th with the monthly meeting then being Wednesday, May 20th – we can meet, indoors, in the rain, at Cabin Greens – so, that call will be made by noon on the 20th. The cruise is from 4 until 8/9PM. Setup will start at 2PM, but, with this being the first cruise of the season, Jorn will be out early to start parking lot sweep/cleanup and any other tasks left over from a rough winter – probably start with breakfast at 9 AM and then start outdoors by 10 AM. Anyone available to help out earlier than 2 PM, please do so. The dash plaque will be Dave Brown's antique Buick.

I picked up the new shirts today, so I will have them with me at the cruise. Please pay for them when you receive them. If you'd like your shirt beforehand, please contact me and we can make some sort of arrangement.

I have not yet received any more information on the Ford City Summer Fest – I'll let you know as I get information. What we do know is that the car cruise will be held on Sunday, July 5th from 2 to 6PM and we'll be handling parking, for sure – maybe more.

I'm working on day trips and dates – and, hopefully, on an overnight trip.

We will start selling hot dogs and pop/chips at the June cruise – we'll discuss the details at the May 27th club meeting at Cabin Greens.

Please remember to let Bill Johnson know of any changes of address, phone number or email so that you stay current and can be contacted.

Just received this information – Slate Lick United Presbyterian Church – Cruise for the Cure, Relay for Life Crusie-in – Saturday, May 30 (rain date is Sunday, May 31), 4 to 8PM. Goody bags and dash plaques to the first 50 cars.

Mark your calendar for our third 2015 club meeting at Cabin Greens Dining Room, Wednesday, May 27th, 6PM dinner, 7PM meeting.

Thank you,

Bobbi
