Here it is – fall, and the cruise season has come to an end, but, just for fun, we have a short poker run planned that ends with great food. Poker Run to Rockville United Church, Saturday, October 18th, first car heads out 1PM at the McDonald's Park and Ride at Franklin Village Shopping Center. Various route directions will be given (don't bother to follow someone else) - for a one hour back roads 'tour' with 5 poker card stops. At the church, we'll check your 5 cards, outdoors, at the pavilion and award the prize for the best hand. Then we will eat in the church basement hall – excellent, reasonably-priced food – home made soups, sandwiches, pies and ice cream – also other items for sale by church members. So please mark your calendars for October 18th and come have some fun and great food/hospitality on our last 2014 'cruise'.
